Are you a recent graduate with a passion for chemistry and an interest in the textile industry? Look no further! We are excited to share the opening of three traineeship positions in our TANATEX Academy!

As a trainee, you will be immersed in a dynamic and innovative environment, working alongside experienced professionals in our state-of-the-art laboratory. This hands-on experience will allow you to deepen your knowledge of textile chemistry and gain valuable insight into the latest advancements in sustainable textile production.

Over a period of up to two years, you will work on solutions and process/product development in areas such as textile dyeing, functional textile finishing, and textile coatings. This includes working on customer- and internal lab works, offering support to our partners as well as our R&D department while receiving valuable on-the-job training from experienced senior specialists. You will be involved in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop eco-friendly answers for the industry. This program offers clearly defined assignments, where specific program descriptions can be provided upon request. Lastly, you will be stationed at the technical laboratories within TANATEX Chemicals Ede, surrounded by a team of highly skilled chemists, young professionals, and fellow trainees.

As part of the TANATEX Academy program, you will receive both theoretical and practical training in the application of chemical solutions in wet textile processes. Additionally, you will have meetings with your coach, collaborate with peers, and further develop your communication and presentation skills. You will have the chance to co-visit customers to gain insights into their needs and challenges and experience the industry application of our products first-hand.

Qualifications needed:

  • You have an educational background in Chemistry, holding either a BSc (or MSc) degree.
  • You possess a clear personal motivation for attending our program.
  • You have a pragmatic and hands-on attitude, along with a result-oriented and creative nature
  • You are a team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to our collective success
  • You have a strong focus on working in line with safety guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Having Dutch communication skills will be advantageous
  • In possession of a Dutch residence permit
  • What we offer:

  • Salary range in EUR: 2300 – 2600
