About the department: As an Inside Sales Representative at midocean you will work within a friendly and diverse team with whom you will provide our customers with the best service day after day. Our UK & Export sales departments are responsible for several regions. In addition, you will have a lot of contact with our colleagues in Poland.

A day in the life…

The day starts with a hot cup of coffee while the computer starts up for a day full of work. One of the customers sends you an email about different printing techniques, you can easily help them and advise them about the best options for their specific products. You prepare an offer and send it to the customer for approval. Once the decisions have been made, you help the customer with his order from start to finish, because you are the one who is in contact with our colleagues in the print shop in Poland and in Hong Kong.

After a nice, healthy lunch, you will have enough energy to deal with more complex matters, such as complaints. Something went wrong with an order from the website, the customer ordered red lanyards with a white logo, but got white lanyards with a red logo. It’s up to you to fix this, call the customer and make sure the logistics department knows where to pick up the wrong order and make sure the customer gets the right order. Because of the strong relationships you have built up with our customers, the complaint will be solved very easily, resulting in a satisfied customer.

At the end of the day you have taken the time to contact the account manager. They are on their way and need all kinds of information about replenishments, stock and other sales related matters that you can answer thanks to the various systems that you monitor throughout the day.

As midocean’s Inside Sales Representative, you will therefore be in close contact with international customers and colleagues in our print and logistics departments, both by phone and e-mail, to ensure optimal, timely and accurate service.
