Senior Credit Controller
Location: Ede
32–40 hours
As a senior Credit Controller team member, you work closely with your colleagues in Accounting, Accounts Payable (AP), Controlling, and the Sales Representatives.
Together with your direct colleagues, you process the daily flow of reminders, scheduled call actions, blocked orders, and unallocated bank payments. You reconcile long-standing credit and debit balances in consultation with the customer and the cash application team. You maintain oversight of all (un)insured credit limits and are an expert in managing insured credit limits, thanks to your thorough knowledge of the insurance policy, all available options, and the debtor portfolio.
You take a results-driven approach in deciding whether to proceed on an uninsured basis in order to support daily sales operations. In doing so, you effectively relieve senior management in risk management and provide knowledgeable advice. You guide the rest of the team throughout this process. As a senior, you are not only a role model in the Credit & Collections process your expertise and personality ensure that things get done in a deadline-driven organization.
You take satisfaction in supporting other departments, such as Sales and local sites, without losing ownership of your responsibilities. Together with the team, you ensure a transparent receivables management process while keeping the interests of all stakeholders within the sales channels clearly in focus. You balance finance and sales interests from a business economics perspective. In this role, you report directly to the Finance Manager.
What will you do?
- Accounts receivable management; sending reminders and following up on outstanding invoices
- Analyzing and releasing blocked orders
- Reconciling payment differences and long-outstanding items
- Aging analysis reporting and follow-up
- Advising on bad debt provisions
- Credit management; applying for and maintaining (un)insured credit limits
- Credit management; organizing and reviewing the semi-annual credit committee
- Managing and processing various mailboxes
- Handling additional ad hoc tasks
Who are we looking for?
- In possession of a completed relevant administrative MBO+ qualification
- Senior profile, with 5 to 7 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Good command of English, both spoken and written; Dutch is a plus
- Experience with Excel, preferably also with SAP
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage

- Gross monthly salary between €4,000 and €4,500 (based on 40 hours)
- Bonus: performance-based EBITDA bonus of 5%
