Job Description

You independently handle part of the administrative HR processes and work closely with our HR Assistant to keep everything running smoothly. You maintain oversight, safeguard quality, and act as the point of contact for both employees and managers. You also contribute to preparing the payroll by ensuring timely and accurate input. You work with precision, structure, and you know how to set the right priorities even during busy periods.

You take full ownership of the onboarding process and act as a true Wabtec ambassador for candidates and new colleagues. You are not only service‑oriented and communicative, but also socially skilled: you build relationships with ease and convey information clearly and accessibly.

In addition, you support typical HR Advisor responsibilities, such as guiding managers through HR‑related questions, supporting performance and development cycles, ensuring compliance, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen engagement and employee well‑being. You also play an active and visible role in absence management, working closely with the case manager to guide managers and employees through the process in line with legislation and policies. You are eager to learn, pick up new topics quickly, and identify opportunities to continuously improve our processes.
