This is a newly created role to establish finance at the core of the Hadley Group’s Custom Roll Form Division. The division has 2 established locations across the UK and the Netherlands (Ede) with a third site planned in Eastern Europe. The role will have financial ownership across all 3 sites frequent travel across all sites is expected.DescriptionThis is a newly created role to establish finance at the core of the Hadley Group’s Custom Roll Form Division. The division has 2 established locations across the UK and the Netherlands (Ede) with a third site planned in Eastern Europe. The role will have financial ownership across all 3 sites frequent travel across all sites is expected.The business is going through an exciting growth phase and requires a senior finance leader to form a strong and effective partnership with the Business Unit Director and Commercial Director. As well as day to day financial management, the role will take the lead on the implementation of a new ERP system, development of the financial team/processes and support with the setup of a new site.Establish Finance at the core of design making in the businessManage financial reporting requirements, processes and compliance for the division. Both internally and externallyLead on the ERP implementationDevelopment and management of the local finance teams and recruitment of new resources where necessaryPlay a key part in the third site project team and management thereofChallenge operational and commercial performanceReport on the financial performance of the division and perform key variance analysis. Maintain financial records in accordance with local GAAPDevelop processes for the monitoring and reporting of standard costing accuracy and variancesLead all planning and budgeting processesMonitor financial targets and align business unit plans with functional leadsProvide financial support to analysing capital equipment and investment opportunitiesManage the cash flow of the business, to ensure working capital is optimised. Liaising with Group finance where necessaryCo-ordinate and justify all capital expenditure requests and provide post investment appraisalsEnsure inventory records are accurate and carefully managedEnsure product costing is accurate and the costing methodology and associated ERP transactions is robustDevelop existing relationships with the IT function and improve available reporting toolsIn conjunction with Group Finance, manage the relationships with third party advisors as required. Auditors, Tax Advisors, Insurance Brokers etcJob OfferDemonstrate extensive knowledge of pricing & costing within manufacturingFamiliarity with standard costing terminology and processesFinancial modelling and investment appraisal techniquesAdvanced Excel skillsERP expertiseAble to interpret data, provide analysis, and investigate issues.
